The Two-Week Wait for a Pregnancy Test After IVF (NIAW Day 3)

Due to the fact that live programs have been canceled in light of COVID-19, pregnantish has cancelled its annual National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) live event in NYC and has created 7 days of video content in support of infertility awareness.

The topic for our Day 3 of programming in honor of NIAW 2020 is the two-week wait for a pregnancy test after IVF.

After an IVF treatment and the experience of infertility, it’s tough for many women to wait two weeks to find out if the treatment worked with a positive pregnancy test. It’s tempting to keep testing and to analyse any line, no matter how faint!

In this video, produced by Pregnantish Productions and presented by First Response™, four women in the Pregnantish Verified Network: Stephanie Cartin, Jennifer “Jay” Palumbo, Candace Wohl and Brittney Cain, capture what the “2 Week Wait” feels like following years of fertility treatments and take us back to the moment they learned, with their partners, that they were finally expecting.
